The flower snow man was the center of attention.......
He was made out of flowers by our friends at the Rogers Floral Gallery, the designer was Kimerie McGee.

DAY 7
The tree is finished.....now the entertainment center is next.....
The tree is finished with the exception of putting the skirt and the electric train around the bottom....THE BOSS wants me to put the train up, so there is no telling when that will get done.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..and we haven't had Thanksgiving yet. My son, Bodie, suggested to his mother that she just go ahead and put the tree up on the 4th of July.....

THE TOPPER
The Boss Said ....
Tannis told me to put her topper on the blog....for the uninformed, the topper is the thing that goes on TOP of the tree.

DAY 7
FYI...
Tannis's tree is on a revolving stand, it goes round and round. She also has 41 little orna-a-motions that go round and round......new this year are orna-a-motions that go up and down.
Our good friend Dr. Feuerbacker sent me this e-mail today....Robert: What a tree. You and I could have ended up doing that in a half hour. Women need the man to take over. God bless you and Tannis. Bill
Doc Tannis may be calling you if she reads that...
I think I will finish the tree tomorrow....8 days ...not bad

DAY 6
I would have gotten more done on the tree today but Pam Curtis came by for coffee.
I am tired so I think I will go to bed and leave my assistant to do the easy stuff. Just put all this little stuff somewhere on the limbs....no big deal.

DAY 5
We have a new topper thing this year...
What takes her days to do I think just about any man could do before lunch....if you eat early.

DAY 4
The Lights Are on..
Real progress is being made now, she will start the ornaments soon.. I grilled a new recipe on my Weber grill to celebrate this occasion. If you have the Weber cook book it is page #206, Chicken under bricks with BAR-Ba-Que dipping sauce..........IT WAS GOOD

DAY 3
The lights are really tough.
I always dread putting the lights on....I need one of those trees that already have the lights on them...at least that is what Tannis says every year...
